TG Yuva Vikasam Scheme 2025: Six Categories, Unit Costs, and Subsidy Details

The Telangana government has launched the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Scheme to provide subsidies across six categories. For the three categories, the scheme offers bank loans, while for the remaining three, the beneficiaries will bear the balance after availing government subsidies. The scheme guidelines were released by N. Sridhar, Principal Secretary, SC Development Department, on March 25, 2025. This scheme aims to create self-employment opportunities for SC, ST, BC, Minority, and EBC communities. Check eligibility, required documents and subsidy details.

The Telangana government has announced a special self-employment scheme aimed at unemployed youth from SC, ST, BC, and minority communities. Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka stated that the initiative, named "Rajiv Yuva Vikasam", will have a budget of ₹6,000 crore, benefiting 5 lakh youth across the state.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Rural Areas: Annual income should be below ₹1.5 lakh.
• Urban Areas: (Municipal Corporation/Municipality) Annual income should be below ₹2 lakh.

Age Limit:

• Non-agriculture categories: 21 – 55 years
• Agriculture-related categories: 21 – 60 years

One Member Per Family: Only one person per family is eligible for self-employment schemes within five years.

Priority Categories:

• First-Time Applicants: Priority for those applying for the first time under ESS.
• Women: 25% reservation, with preference for single women and widows.
• Persons with Disabilities: 5% reservation.
• Families of Telangana Movement Martyrs and SC Classification Movement Families.

• Aadhaar Card
• Ration Card or Recent Income Certificate
• Caste Certificate (issued after Telangana formation)
• Permanent Driving License (for transport units)
• Pattadar Passbook (for agriculture-related schemes)
• Sadarem Certificate (for persons with disabilities)
• Passport-size Photograph

• Application Start Date: March 17
• Application Deadline: April 14
• Selection & Verification: April 14 – May 31
• Final Beneficiary List Announcement: June 2 (Telangana Formation Day)

Step-by-Step Application Process

Applying for the self-employment scheme is simple. Follow these steps:

• Visit the Official Portal – Go to tgobmms.cgg.gov.in.
• Click on Rajiv Yuva Vikasam link available on the home page.
• In the next page, click on Application Form for Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Scheme
• Register – Create an account using your aadhar and fill all required fields.
• Fill Out the Application Form – Enter your personal, educational, and employment details.
• Upload Documents – Submit scanned copies of required certificates.
• Submit Your Application – Review all details carefully and apply before the April 5 deadline.

Application Review – Mandal & District Levels:

• Mandal Level: Applications will be reviewed by a committee headed by MPDO or Municipal Commissioner/Zonal Commissioner.
• District Level: A special committee headed by the District Collector will oversee the process.

Selection & Approval Schedule:

• Online Application Deadline: April 5, 2025
• Mandal Committee Review: April 6 – May 20, 2025
• District Committee Approval: May 21 – 31, 2025
• Document Distribution to Beneficiaries: June 2 – 9, 2025

Grounding & Training Process:

• Procurement of necessary materials for self-employment units will be conducted transparently.
• District committees will prepare a detailed action plan for training programs.
• Post-Grounding Inspection: Special officers will be appointed by collectors to ensure monitoring and transparency after grounding.
