The Telangana government has launched the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Scheme to provide self-employment opportunities for 5 lakh unemployed youth from BC, SC, ST, Minorities, and EBC categories. Eligible candidates can apply online through the Telangana Online Beneficiary Management & Monitoring System (OBMMS) portal.

Eligibility Criteria
Income Limit:
Rural Areas: Up to ₹1.5 lakh/year
Urban Areas: Up to ₹2 lakh/year
Age Limit:
Non-Agricultural Categories: 21–55 years
Agricultural & Allied Categories: 21–60 years
One Beneficiary per Family (within five years)
Priority Beneficiaries
First-time applicants under the Economic Support Scheme (ESS)
25% reservation for women (including single women & widows)
5% reservation for persons with disabilities
Preference for:
Telangana movement activists' families
SC categorization movement families
Skilled individuals
Required Documents
Aadhaar Card
Ration Card / Income Certificate
Caste Certificate (issued after Telangana formation)
Vulnerable Group Certification (for extremely poor applicants)
Application & Selection Process
Apply online via OBMMS portal, take a printout, and submit it along with documents at Mandal Praja Palana Seva Kendras or Municipal Offices.
Application Deadline: April 5, 2025
Review & Shortlisting: April 6 – May 20 (Mandal & District Committees)
