Eligibility Criteria for Anganwadi Jobs 2025
As per the latest notification, 6,399 Anganwadi Teacher posts and 7,837 Anganwadi Helper posts will be filled across the state.
Educational Qualification:
- For Anganwadi Teacher posts, candidates must have passed at least Intermediate (12th grade).
- Previously, a minimum qualification of 10th class was required for Anganwadi Teacher posts.
- The age limit is set between 18 to 35 years, and those above 65 years will not be considered for service.
Promotion and Reservation Criteria:
- 50% of the helper vacancies will be filled through promotions.
- Similarly, 50% of the supervisor posts will be filled through promotions.
- Teachers with 5 years of service will be considered for promotion to supervisory roles following the guidelines.
Government Decision on Current Helpers
The Women and Child Welfare Department is considering addressing the issue of some existing helpers who lack the minimum educational qualifications. The government is expected to take necessary action regarding these appointments.
