The Department of School Education, Government of Telangana State has released the TS TET notification 2023. The candidates who intend to be teacher for classes I to VIII in schools in Telangana State should attend the Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Tests (TS – TET) 2023

Eligibility (Classes I TO V):

Intermediate/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks (45% for reserve category). AND pass in 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education/ 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education/ 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR
Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks (40% for reserve category). AND pass in 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education/ 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education) in case of the candidates who have passed or admitted to D.El.Ed/ DEd, course prior to issue of these guidelines (23-12-2015). OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks, however in case of SC/ ST/ BC/ Differently Abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45% AND pass in Bachelor of Education/ Bachelor of Education (Special Education)

Eligibility (Classes VI TO VIII):

BA/ B.Sc/ B.Com with at least 50% marks (45% for reserve category) and Passed B.Ed/ B.Ed Special Education. OR
BA/ B.Sc/ B.Com with at least 50% marks (40% for reserve category) and Passed B.Ed/ B.Ed Special Education in case of the candidates who have passed or admitted to B.Ed., course prior to issue of these guidelines (23-12-2015). OR
4 year BAEd/ B.Sc.Ed., with at least 50% marks (45% for reserve category). OR
Graduation with language concerned as one of the optional subjects OR Bachelor of oriental language (or its equivalent) OR Graduation in literature OR Post Graduation in language concerned AND Language Pandit Training Certificate/ B.Ed with language concerned as one of the Methodologies, in respect of Language Teachers. OR
BE/ B.Tech with at least 50% marks (45% for reserve category) and Passed/ Pursuing B.Ed or B.Ed (Special Education).

TS TET 2023 Application Fee:

The online TS TET 2023 application fee will be paid by using different modes such as Credit card/ Net banking/ UPI/ Debit card. The last date for the fees submission is August 16th 2023. Candidates can check the application fees given below in the table:

TS TET 2023 – Application Process:

Here are the steps to be followed for submission of online application.

Step 1: Visit the official TS TET website at tstet.cgg.gov.in.
Step 2: Download the “Information Bulletin” and verify the eligibility.
Step 3: Pay Application fee
Step 4: After submitting the application fees, candidates will receive a "Journal Number" which they can use to proceed with the online application submission process.
Step 4: Click on the Online Application
Step 5: Candidates have to input their Journal Number, Date of Payment, and Date of Birth as they were entered during their online payment.
Step 6: Check the box next to the declaration and enter the verification code provided (CAPTCHA) and then click on verify & next.
Step 7: Please ensure that you fill out all the mandatory fields in the application form when it opens. To upload your photo, click on the browse option and select a photo of the required size.
a) The Candidate should be ready with photograph of size 4.5X3.5cms before filling in the Online application.
b) Paste the photograph on a white paper and sign below (sign in Black Ink only).
c) Ensure that the signature is within the box. Scan the required size containing the photograph and signature. Please do not scan the complete page. The entire image consisting of photo along with signature, is required to be scanned and stored in *.jpeg format on local machine.
d) Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50kb.
e) Click on UPLOAD button
e) After pressing the ‘UPLOAD’ button, check if the photo is of required size, clear and is of the same candidate whose details are to be filled in the application.
Step 8: After clicking the "Submit" button, a pop-up window will appear displaying the message "Please ensure that all details are filled in properly. The application cannot be edited after final submission."
Step 9: A Candidate ID will then be generated and an SMS will be sent to the registered mobile number.
Step 10: Download the application form for future reference.

Intermediate memo
Reservation certificate (for OBC/SC/ST).
1 Passport size photograph with maximum size 50kb (4.5 X 3.5 cm) along with signature 50kb in jpg format.

TS TET 2023 Exam Schedule

The TS TET 2023 Exam has been scheduled for September 15th, 2023 (Friday). The TS TET Paper I examination will take place in the morning from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, while the TS TET Paper 2 examination will take place in the afternoon from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm.
