TG PGECET 2025 Notification Details

The Telangana Post-Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET-2025) is a great opportunity for aspiring candidates to secure admission into full-time courses such as M.E, M.Tech, M.Pharm, M.Arch, and graduate-level Pharm.D (P.B.) programs.
Eligibility criteria for TG PGECET-2025 are as follows:
Nationality and Domicile:
- The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
- Candidates should belong to the state of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh and meet local/non-local status requirements as specified in the regulations.
Educational Qualifications:
- Candidates should have completed or be in the final year of their qualifying degree in relevant fields like Engineering, Pharmacy, or Architecture from a recognized university.
- A minimum of 50% marks is required in the qualifying exam for General/EWS/OBC candidates. For candidates belonging to SC/ST categories, the minimum is 45% marks.
Age Limit:
- There is no specific upper age limit for most courses. However, some institutions may have age-related criteria, especially for certain categories of seats.
Other Requirements:
- GATE-qualified candidates are also eligible to apply and are often exempted from appearing in the PGECET exam for some universities.
Application Fee:
- ₹1,100 for General/OBC/EWS candidates
- ₹600 for SC/ST/PWD candidates

TG PGECET-2025 Exam Pattern:
Mode of Exam: Online (Computer-Based Test).
Duration: 2 hours.
Questions:
- Total: 120 multiple-choice questions.
- Each question carries 1 mark.
Marking Scheme:
- No negative marking for incorrect answers.
- Total marks: 120.
Qualifying Marks:
- General/EWS/OBC: 25% of the maximum marks (30 marks).
