The Andhra Pradesh Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (APSWREIS) has released the BRAG CET-2025 notification for admissions into Class 5 and Junior Intermediate (English Medium) at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Gurukulam Schools for the academic year 2025-26.

Eligible students must apply online before March 6, 2025. Admissions will be based on the entrance test, and selected students will receive free education, accommodation, sports facilities, and training for competitive exams like JEE and NEET.

Eligibility Criteria for BRAG CET 2025

For Class 5 Admission: Must have studied Class 3 in 2023-24 and Class 4 in 2024-25 in a government or recognized school within the district.
For Junior Intermediate Admission: Must have completed Class 10 in 2024-25 from a government or recognized school in the respective district.

Age Limit:

For Class 5:

SC/ST students: Born between 01.09.2012 and 31.08.2016
OC/BC/BC-C students: Born between 01.09.2014 and 31.08.2016

For Intermediate:

Students should be below 17 years as of 31.08.2025.

Income Limit:

Annual family income should not exceed ₹1,00,000.

Reservation Policy:

SC - 75%
BC-C - 12%
ST - 6%
BC - 5%
Others - 2%

Class 5 Entrance Exam:

Total Questions: 50 (Objective Type)
Subjects & Marks Distribution:
Mathematics – 15
English – 10
Telugu – 10
EVS – 15
Exam Duration: 2 hours
Medium: English & Telugu

Junior Intermediate Entrance Exam:

Total Questions: 100 (Objective Type)
Subjects & Marks Distribution:
Mathematics – 15
Physical Science – 15
Biology/Natural Science – 15
Social Studies – 10
English – 15
Logical Reasoning & Aptitude – 30
Exam Duration: 2.5 hours
Medium: English & Telugu

Selection Process:

Based on entrance test scores and reservation policies.

IIT & NEET Coaching:

Candidates ranking in the Junior Intermediate BRAG CET Merit List will be shortlisted in a 1:3 ratio for the IIT-NEET entrance test.
