RGUKT IIIT Basar Six-Year B.Tech Admissions 2024: Counselling Schedule Released

Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT), also known as Basar IIIT, has announced the provisional admissions for its six-year B.Tech programs for the academic year 2024-25. In a positive trend, girls dominated the admissions with 69% (976 girls) securing seats compared to 31% (428 boys).

The admissions are aimed towards students from rural government schools who have completed Class 10. The list of selected students and seat allotment details were released on Wednesday at the BR Ambedkar Secretariat by Principal Secretary (Education) Burra Venkatesham, University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Venkata Ramana, and Joint Convener Pavani. The list can also be accessed on the university website https://www.rgukt.in/.

RGUKT IIIT Basar 2024 Counselling:

Selection is based on Class 10 rank, and counseling sessions are scheduled for July 8th, 9th, and 10th. Candidates must bring their original certificates to these sessions.

Counseling Schedule:

• July 8th: Ranks 1-500
• July 9th: Ranks 501-1,000
• July 10th: Ranks 1,001-1,404

It's important to note that 95% of the selected students come from private schools. Additionally, Siddipet district secured the highest number of seats (330), while Nirmal district, where the IIIT is located, obtained 72 seats.
