The admissions were open to 10th class students to the Six-Year Integrated B.Tech Programme in RGUKT AP campuses located at Nuzvid, Idupulapaya, Ongole, and Srikakulam for the academic year 2024-2025.

In IIITs, a total of 4,400 seats are available this year, with 53,863 students applying. This means there is competition of 13 applicants per seat. Of those applying, 34,154 students are from government schools and 19,671 are from private schools.

Reserved seats are allocated based on categories such as high marks in the tenth grade, and also under SC, ST, OBC reservations. Additionally, 100 seats are allocated to economically weaker sections. Applicants from other states receive 25% of seats under the supernumerary category.
