With the increase in the number of students waiting for admission in engineering courses and the lack of weightage of inter-marks, there seems to be interest in what the ranks will look like. However, in the wake of Corona, the government has taken a somewhat liberal decision regarding engineering admissions. It has relaxed the requirement to qualify for the EAMCET; 45% in Inter for general category and 40 per cent marks for the reserved candidates. Officials said the decision was taken in the wake of Covid? conditions and the inabilities to conduct inter exams. With this, those who have qualified in EAMCET can easily get admissions in engineering colleges.
