TS EAMCET 2021: Engineering Seats Allotted; Check Most Desired Courses!

In the second phase of allotment of engineering seats in Telangana, 75.18 per cent seats have been allotted under the convener quota, said Technical Education Commissioner Naveen Mittal.

Of the total 79,790 engineering seats in the state, 59,993 seats have been allotted so far. There are still 19,797 seats left. Many of those who took part in the second phase of counseling preferred new courses, including computer science. With this the computer science seats were filled as hot cakes. Civil and mechanical seats are largely left with fewer options. 95.98 per cent seats were allotted in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) while only 32.57 per cent seats were filled in Mechanical Engineering. As many as 41.87 per cent seats were allotted due to lack of interest from students in civil engineering.
