Seat details in Engineering and Pharmacy
The government on November 1 finalized the number of seats per course in colleges for web counseling. For the first time, 35 per cent of seats in university colleges, private unaided colleges as well as private universities are being filled under the Convenor quota. There are 1,45,421 engineering and pharmacy seats available for first phase counseling during the 2021–22 academic year. Most of these are in the computer science department. It is followed by core subjects such as Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), Mechanical, Chemical and Civil. A total of 435 colleges are in counseling for engineering and pharmacy courses.

Web Options from November 2nd
The process of web options will start from November 2. Options can be exercised until November 5th. Changes can be made on November 6th. The first batch of seats will be allotted on November 10. Students who have secured seats should do self-reporting online and join the respective colleges by November 15. Classes start from the same day.
