CTET December 2024 Schedule Changed: Check New Exam Date Here

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) in December 2024 to qualify for teaching positions in government schools from Class I to VIII. The exam date has been revised, check new date here.

CBSE conducts CTET Paper I for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V and Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.

• Duration of Online Application: 17.09.2024 to 16.10.2024
• Last date for submission of online Application: 16.10.2024 (Before 11:59PM)
• Last date for submission of fee: 16.10.2024 (Before11:59PM)
• Date of Examination: 15th December 2024

CTET Paper-1 exam will be for 150 marks in five sections.

• Child Development and Pedagogy  30 questions-30 marks;
• Language-1: 30 Questions-30 Marks;
• Language-2: 30 Questions-30 Marks;
• Mathematics 30 questions-30 marks;
• Environmental Studies will be of 30 questions-30 marks.

CTET Paper-2 will be conducted for 150 marks in duration of two and half hours. The examination will be completely objective in all the five sections.

• Child Development and Pedagogy 30 questions-30 marks;
• Language 1  : 30 questions-30 marks;
• Language 2: 30 questions-30 marks;
• Mathematics/ Science   60 questions-60 marks; (OR) Social Studies  /Social Science  60 Questions- 60 Marks Examination
• In Language-1 category candidates have to appear in the medium in which they want to teach. A total of 20 languages ​​are available.
