Gazette notification issued on medical seats

On October 22, Anil Kumar Singhal, the chief secretary of the medical health department, issued an order amending the previous order to this effect. Talented Reserve Candidates (MRCs) who get a seat in the open category and slide the seat but change the course for other reasons will be given to the same reserved category candidates. If the MRC candidate does not join the sliding college or course, the vacated seat will be filled by the open category candidate. If the same category candidate does not appear for the seat originally vacant (open category seat left by Reserved category candidate), it will have to be filled again with the same category candidate.

For example, if the SC candidate who has secured a seat in the open category in Siddhartha Medical College slides and goes to Andhra Medical College, the Siddhartha seat should be replaced by the SC category candidate. If the candidate does not appear for the second time in Andhra Medical College, the seat will be filled in the open category. If the reserved candidate does not appear for the second time for the first vacated Siddhartha College seat, the seat will have to be filled with the same category candidate.
