The National Medical Commission has directed the respective states to provide details on facilities in government-run medical colleges in various states across the country.

The NMC has written to all states to this effect. The NMC blamed the lack of faculty in some departments of government medical colleges in most states for not caring about their replacement. It has been found that the faculty teaching MBBS, PG and super specialty medical students do not have the required qualifications.
