Governments are constantly monitoring the situation of corona out breaks and thinking, how and when to start schools and other educational institutions(Schools across the country were closed due to Corona (Covid-19)).
This is the situation whereschool children have to stay home for a while. Instead of misusing this precious time, students can learn lot of things online. Let us know about them….

National Book Trust of India
TheNational Book Trust of India has prepared over 100 books for children and young people. These books are available for free in 18 languages. These include giraffe stories in Malayalam to life history of Mahatma Gandhi in Gujarati.

Story Weaver
More than 19,000 books are available in Story Weaver. Special reading programs are available for students of grade one to eight.

LibriVox
This is an online platform that makes audio books available for free. LibriVox is a volunteer-run, free content, Public Domain project.

Volunteers record books they like. Students can pick and choose the books they like.

Coding – Scratch
Scratch is a block-based visual programming language and website targeted primarily at children. Users of the site can create online projects using a block-like interface. The service is developed by the MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) Media Lab, has been translated into 70+ languages, and is used in most parts of the world.It provides a basic understanding of programming language through stories and games for children interested in coding.

This is the first and only YouTube Channel that actively attempts to cover profiles on every single country of the world. It explains aboutgeography, culture and language of each country.

National Geographic Kids: There are many things in it that entertains children.

The National Repository of Open Educational Resources-NROER
The website was developed by the Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET) and the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). This website offers multiple online courses and e-books.

CK-12
It includes curriculum and short videos to help school students understand Science, Math and Social Science.It provides free and customizable K-12 open educational resources aligned to state curriculum standards.

The Big History Project
The Big History Project is dedicated to fostering a greater love and capacity for learning among high school students.
