e-Commerce jobs gaining momentum even in corona crisis

While many sectors are swayed by the corona blow, others are facing jolts. But e-commerce is not only enduring but also providing new jobs.

20000 jobs on Amazon
Amazon recently announced that it will hire 20,000 seasonal jobs in the customercare services segment. These jobs will be filled in Hyderabad, Pune, Coimbatore, Noida, Kolkata, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Mangalore, Indore, Bhopal and Lucknow. Selected candidates will be given Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000 per month. Those who have passed Intermediate and are proficient in English / Hindi / Telugu / Kannada / Tamil can apply for these jobs. Candidates are selected by conducting an online interview for the Seasonal Customer Care Associate jobs.

The creation of the fresh job roles come amidst expectations of a continued rise in demand going forward.

Based on the candidates’ performance as well as business needs, a percentage of the present temporary positions are likely to be converted into permanent positions towards the end of the year, the company said.
