Bright future with Diploma Programmes in CITD

The Central Institute of Tool Design (CITD) was set up in 1968 in Hyderabad. CITD has released admission notification for diploma courses.
Here are the details of the courses offered, eligibility, application process......
Courses- Eligibility
Course Name:
Diploma in Tool, Die and Mould Making.
Number of seats: 60
Course duration: Four years
Age: 15-19 years.
Eligibility: Pass in tenth class with at least 50% marks;
For SC and ST candidates, 45% marks.

Course Name: Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
Number of seats: 60.
Course duration: Three years.
Age: Maximum age is 19 years.
Eligibility: Pass in tenth class.

Course Name: Diploma in Automation and Robotics Engineering.
Number of seats: 60
Course duration: Three years
Age: Maximum age is 19 years.
Eligibility: Pass in tenth class.

Course Name: Diploma in Production Engineering.
Number of seats: 60
Course duration: Three years
Age: Maximum age is 19 years.
Eligibility: Pass in tenth class is compulsory.

Entrance Examination:
The candidates who have qualified in the Entrance Examination will get the admission. Exam consists of objective questions from basic mathematics, science, English, aptitude and general knowledge of class ten. The duration of the exam will be 90 minutes.

Details of some other courses
Advanced Certificate Course on CNC Machining is available. Candidates who have completed ITI with Machinist, Turner, Bench Fitter and Toolmaker Specialization are eligible for the admission.

The Master Certificate Course is available in Computer Aided Tool Engineering. Course duration is six months. Must have passed diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering / equivalent course.

Master Certificate Course is available at CAD, CAM. Course duration is six months.

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Equivalent course.

Certificate course is available in CNC Milling with a period of six months. Post Graduate candidates are eligible to apply.

The Certificate Course is available for six months in CNC Turning. Tenth/equivalent qualified candidates are eligible to apply.

Four-month courses
Mechanical CAD/CAM, Advanced Mechanical CAD/CAM.
Eligibility: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering / equivalent degree or diploma.

Three-month courses
Integrated CREO, Parametric, Integrated CATIA, Integrated ANSYS, Integrated HYPERMESH, Mechanical CAD.

Eligibility: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering / equivalent.

Short-Term Courses
There are several courses available in the CITD, including the two-month and one-month courses In addition, it also provides project work and internships for Industrial Training and BE / B. Tech students for a period of six months.

Deadline for application: 2nd May, 2020.
Entrance Examination Date: 10 May, 2020.
Application Fee: General Candidates- Rs.700 and SC/ST Category -Rs.350.
