Students can write 10th exams only if registered in UDISE!
On October 16, the Education Department made a pivotal decision in this regard. Once students have submitted their examination fees, their respective schools will compile nominal rolls, encompassing student names and comprehensive information, which will subsequently be forwarded to the government examination department.
Children attending unaccredited educational institutions will no longer be permitted to take the tenth-grade exams to deter such practices. Henceforth, only students listed in the UDISE will be eligible for Class 10 examinations. School Education Director Sreedevasena has instructed District Educational Officers (DEOs) to update student data in the UDISE portal by October 28, acknowledging this data as the nominal rolls, and disseminate this information to all schools prior to the specified deadline.
