Amaravati, A.P. – February24, 2024: Experiencing the kaleidoscope of India's rich cultural tapestry as Vasudaikam, a state-wise ethnic rally, unfolds at the inaugural session of the 2-day mega cultural festivities of VITOPIA-2024 in VIT-AP University today. Students from diverse states showcased their regional dances in traditional attire, creating a vibrant and culturally rich spectacle for all to revel in."

The festivities began with Vasudaikam, a state-wise ethnic rally featuring students from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Bihar, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, and the North-eastern states. The state-wise ethnic rally was unveiled by Dr. S.V. Kota Reddy – Vice-Chancellor VIT-AP, and Dr. Jagadish chandra – Registrar of VIT-AP. Participants showcased their regional dances in traditional attire, creating a vibrant and culturally rich experience for all.

Speaking on the occasion Dr. S.V. Kota Reddy – Vice-Chancellor VIT-AP university said that we at VIT-AP University encourage students to participate in extracurricular activities fostering them well-rounded individuals more than just academic achievements. It is with great enthusiasm that I endorse and support events like Vitopia 2024, our annual sports and cultural fest. These extracurricular activities provide students with opportunities to showcase their talents, develop leadership skills.

The first day of the two-day program featured a diverse array of cultural events, including a singing concert, stand-up comedy shows, and a theme fashion show. In addition to sports, the event featured entertainment by V Rhythm Singing- Single and Beat Boxing, V step up Dance- Group Classic, V Glam Designers Fashion Show, Jammers Telugu Band, Thaikkudam Bridge Band, DJ Nucleya.

The festivities created a vibrant and culturally rich experience for all attendees. Dr. Jagadish chandra – Registrar of VIT-AP, Dr. Sudhakar Ilango – Convenor – Vitopia 2024, and Dr.Khadeep Pasha – Deputy Director Students Welfare also actively participated in the program.
