NTA UGC NET Dec 2021 and June 2022 activity schedule released

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the UGC NET activity schedule for the December 2021 and June 2022 merged cycles.

The NTA has been entrusted by the University Grants Commission (UGC) with the task of conducting UGC NET, which is a test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for ‘Assistant Professor’ and ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’ in Indian universities and colleges.
NTA will conduct UGC-NET December 2021 and June 2022 (merged cycles) for ‘Junior Research Fellowship’ and eligibility for ‘Assistant Professor’ in 82 subjects in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
The activity schedule of UGC-NET December 2021 and June 2022 (merged cycles), are as follows:

  • Submission of online application form: April 30 to May 20, 2022 (up to 5 pm)
  • Last date for submission of examination fee (through credit card/ debit card/netbanking/UPI: May 20 (up to 5 pm)
  • Correction in the particulars in online application form: May 21 to May 23, 2022
  • Intimation of cities of exam centres: TBA
  • Downloading of admit card from NTA website: TBA
  • UGC NET exam dates: TBA
  • Exam timings: First shift from 9 am to 12 pm, second shift from 3 pm to 6 pm

Exam fees:
General/Unreserved: Rs. 1100/-
General-EWS/OBC-NCL: Rs. 550/-
SC/ST/PwD: Rs. 275/-
Third gender: Rs. 275/-
