Telangana Bandh on February 14, 2025
A statewide bandh has been called for February 14 (Friday) across Telangana. In recent times, schools and colleges have been facing unexpected holidays due to various reasons, and this bandh might add another break for students.
Why is the Bandh Being Observed?
The bandh has been called by Mala Mahanadu and the SC Classification Opposition Committee in protest against SC classification policies. The protestors argue that the decision goes against constitutional principles and that the National SC Commission should have been consulted before making such decisions.
