Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI)Dr. Kakarla Subba Rao Centre for Healthcare Management, Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Hospital Management)had organized a one-day Intercollege Health Fest in their campus at Banjara Hills, Road no. 3, Hyderabad called Healthitude 2024, with a theme encompassing aspects of importance in “Health and Wellbeing”. April 27th corresponds to World Healing Day.
This event had multiple registrations around and participation from students and faculties of various UG and PG, encompassing more than 30 colleges from AP and Telangana. Dr. Raghuram Pillarisetti, is Guest of Honour and Academic Advisory Board, Chairman, PGDM(HM) and Director of KIMS- Ushalakshmi Breast Cancer Foundation.
The event showcased a very engaging panel discussion with eminent panellists across various domains of key importance who will put forward their expertise in the subject. The panellists include, Mr. DevanadKolothodi,Regional CEO Aster DM Healthcare, Smt.KShilpavalli,DCP of Hyderabad, Dr.Khyati Tiwari, Nutrition Specialist, UNICEF, Hyd, Smt. Sarada Lingaraju , Psychologist & Hospital Administrator Sparsh Hospice, Hyd, Moderator Dr Subodh Kandamuthan, Program Director ASCI PGDM (Hospital Management).
Some important topics included were Nutrition. Mental Health, Addictions in young adults, Technological advancements in Health as well as Role of Hospitals in today’s healthcare scenario. Post which there were some fun and exciting academic and cultural competitions lined up for students like E Poster presentation, Smart Youth Quiz, Extempore, Face Painting, Reel Making, Theme based Dance performances, Talent Triumph.
