In a noteworthy achievement, the board finalised the evaluation within a record 12 working days, as confirmed by UP Board secretary Dibyakant Shukla on Twitter. Shukla stated, "This is a historic milestone for the board. Not only were the exams conducted entirely cheat-free, but the evaluation process has also been completed in the shortest time ever."
Earlier official figures from the UP Board indicated a total of 55,25,308 students registered for the 2024 exams. This includes 29,47,311 students appearing for the high school exam and 25,77,997 for the intermediate exam.
For evaluation purposes, the board deployed a team of 94,802 examiners to assess a staggering 1.76 crore answer sheets for the high school exam. Additionally, 52,295 examiners were entrusted with evaluating 1.25 crore answer sheets for the Class 12 exams.
