Important Instructions for TSPSC Group-1 Exam 2022: Strict Rules Imposed

State Government Principal Secretary Somesh Kumar has directed the District Collectors to make proper arrangements for the Group-1 Preliminary Examination that will be conducted on OCtober 16th.

A teleconference was held with the District Collectors from BRKR Bhavan on October 11 regarding the conduct of the TSPSC Group-1 2022 preliminary examination. Telangana Public Service Commission Chairman Dr. B. Janardhan Reddy, DGP Mahender Reddy, District Collectors, Police Commissioners and SPs participated in the conference.

The CS explained that 3.8 lakh candidates will appear for the examination in 1,019 centers across the state on October 16. It is advised to identify the strong rooms and arrange police protection. The District Collectors should hold a special meeting with the officials of the concerned departments and make arrangements for drinking water and sanitation at the examination centers.

Strongroom Incharges, Route Officers, Liaison Officers, Assistant Liaison Officers, Chief Superintendents have been directed to follow the instructions as per Public Service Commission's check List. A special control room should also be set up in the TSPSC office. Candidates are advised to download the hall tickets for preliminary test from TSPSC website. Candidates should reach the examination center before the deadline. TSPSC Secretary Anitaramachandran, GAD Secretary Seshadri, School Education Secretary Vakati Karuna, Technical Education Commissioner Naveen Mittal and other senior officials participated in the teleconference.

TSPSC Group-1 2022: Important instructions for candidates

✔ Exam will be conducted from 10.30 AM to 1 PM. Candidates should reach the examination center by 8.30 am. The gate will be closed 15 minutes before the exam time i.e. at 10.15 am. Candidates will not be allowed inside.
✔ Candidates should print their hall tickets on A4 size page. A color print would be better. If the candidate's photograph and signature are not printed, three passport photographs must be attested by the gazetted officer and the guarantee certificate must be given to the invigilator at the examination centre. Otherwise the candidate will not be allowed.
✔ Before entering the examination centre, along with hall ticket, bring any original government issued identity card like Passport, PAN Card, Voter Card, Aadhaar Card, Government Employee Identity Card, Driving License etc.
✔ Preliminary candidates will be allowed to write the exam only after taking biometric. It has been clarified that only if the biometric taken while writing the preliminary matches with the one taken while appearing for the mains, there will be an opportunity to write the main exam.

✔ Candidates appearing for the examination should wear sandals only. Do not wear shoes.
✔ There should be no decorations like gourd, ink, tattoos on the hands and feet, no jewelery should be worn.
✔ Check if all 150 questions are printed in the question paper when it is opened. If there are mistakes, ask for another one.
✔ If candidates use whitener, chalk powder, blade, rubber in the OMR paper, the paper will be deemed ineligible and will not be considered for evaluation.
✔ Answers should not be marked on the question paper under any circumstances. If the hall ticket number is written anywhere other than the place specified in the OMR sheet or any other marks are made, the document will be treated as invalid.
✔ Candidates scanned digital OMR will placed on its website.
✔ Candidates will not be allowed to go out till the end of the examination time.

The Telangana State Public Service Commission has designed a new test booklet as part of the Group-1 examination. So far A, B, C, D had to be written instead of test booklet series code. Apart from this, the test booklet has replaced the series with a six digit number to make the examination more transparent. The prescribed booklet number has to be filled in the OMR sheet.
