The government has given good news to those who wrote the constable exam in Telangana. The Telangana govt. has issued a notification reducing the cutoff marks for TS Police Constable Exams 2022.

Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board has released a supplementary notification on Sunday in accordance with the statement given by Chief Minister KCR. According to the notification released by the TSLPRB, only those who have secured 30% marks will be eligible. During the previous recruitments, 40% for General category, 35% for BC candidates and 30% for SC candidates were fixed as cutoff marks.

As per latest notification, 30% marks have been finalized as cutoff for general category, 25% marks for BC candidates, 20% marks for SC, ST and ex-serviceman category has been finalized. Chairman of the Board VV Srinivasa Rao revealed that the details have been made available on the official website. Candidates belonging to the category of X Servicemen have been given an opportunity to upload the details from 8 am on the 4th of this month to 12 midnight on the 8th.

As many as 6,03,955 candidates appeared for the preliminary written test for Telangana Constable posts which was held on August 28. The Primary Answer 'Key' has been made available by the Police Recruitment Board on its official website. Along with 15,644 civil posts, 63 transport and 614 constable posts, the notifications were released separately on April 28 this year. The Police Recruitment Board jointly conducted the preliminary written test for all these posts.

A total of 6,61,198 people applied for this exam and 6,03,955 appeared. About 91.34 percent have written the exam.
