HDFC Bank has released the notification for HDFC Bank Parivartan's Educational Crisis Scholarship Support (ECSS) Programme for Under Graduate students

About the Programme:

HDFC Bank Parivartan's Educational Crisis Scholarship Support (ECSS) Programme is an initiative of HDFC Bank that aims to support meritorious and needy students belonging to underprivileged sections of society. The scholarship programme is meant for under graduate students.
HDFC Bank is India’s leading banking and financial service provider. It has introduced this scholarship as part of its flagship programme – Educational Crisis Scholarship Support (ECSS). The bank has been undertaking various projects in the field of education and livelihood training as part of its social initiative - Parivartan.

HDFC Bank Parivartan's ECSS Scholarship for UG Students - Eligibility:

Open for Indian nationals only.
The students must be pursuing graduation courses (general courses- B.Com, B.Sc, BA, BCA, etc. and professional courses- B.Tech, MBBS, LLB, B Arch, Nursing) in recognised colleges or universities in India.
The applicants must have passed the previous qualifying examination with at least 55% marks.
Annual family income must be less than or equal to INR 2.5 Lakh.
Preference will be given to those applicants who are facing personal or family crises that have occurred during the past three years due to which they are unable to continue bearing the cost of education and are at risk of dropping out.

HDFC Bank Parivartan's ECSS Scholarship for UG Students - Scholarship Amount:

For general undergraduate courses – Rs.30,000/-
For professional undergraduate courses – Rs.50,000/-

Previous year's mark sheets (2022-23)
Passport size photograph
Identity proof (Aadhaar Card/Voter ID/Driving License)
Current year admission proof (Fee Receipt/Admission Letter/Institution ID Card/Bonafide Certificate) (2023-24)
Applicant Bank Passbook/Cancelled Cheque (Information will also be captured in the application form)
Income Proof (any of the three proofs given below)
