The Research Science Initiative (RSI-India) 2025, sponsored by the Adani Group, is an exclusive six-week STEM research program for Class XI students. Hosted by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, RSI-India is inspired by the prestigious MIT Research Science Institute (RSI) and has been running since 1984 under the Center for Excellence in Education (CEE).

RSI-India 2025 Program Highlights:

Fully Funded: No program fees; costs for accommodation and food are covered.
Duration: June 15 – July 26, 2025.
Location: IISc Bengaluru.
Eligibility: Open to Class XI students (or those who have completed Class XI and started Class XII).
Selection Process: Based on personal statements, academic achievements (STEM), exam scores, recommendation letters, and transcripts.

What to Expect:

Week 1: Intensive coursework at IISc.
Weeks 2-6: Hands-on research projects under IISc mentors.
Final Presentation: Students will present their research paper and talk at the RSI-India Student Symposium.
Special Lectures: Industry leaders at the Palsamudram Lecture Series, named after Mr. Sanjay Palsamudram.
Networking: Connect with top STEM students across India.
Social & Cultural Activities: A well-rounded experience beyond academics.

Who Can Apply?

Current Class XI students (or those who have completed Class XI and started Class XII).
Must be Indian citizens.
