About the course:
  • This course seeks to study some of the key texts in feminist writings that engage with issues such as patriarchy, violence, embodiment, agency and identity.
  • Through a careful study of selected fiction and non-fiction, the course aims to offer a complex understanding of gender and representation, drawing on literary as well as cultural studies.
