UPSC Civil Services Mains Exam 2023 Detailed Application Form I
In accordance with the Rules of the Examination, all candidates who were qualified in the said examination have to apply again in the Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2023, which has been made available on the website of the Union Public Service Commission from 10/07/2023 to 19/07/2023 till 6:00 P.M.
All the candidates are required to fill up the DAF-I ONLINE and submit the same ONLINE for admission to the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2023.
The candidates who have been declared successful have to log in through OTR Portal (https://upsconline.nic.in/upsc/OTRP/index.php) to fill and submit the DAF-I.
The qualified candidates are further advised to refer to the Rules of the Civil Services Examination, 2023 published in the Gazette of India (Extraordinary) of Department of Personnel and Training Notification dated 01.02.2023, before filling up the DAF-I.
It may be noted that mere submission of DAF-I does not, ipso facto, confer upon the candidates any right for admission to the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2023.
The e-Admit Card along with the Time Table of the said Examination will be uploaded on the Commission’s Website for the eligible candidates around 3-4 weeks before the commencement of the Examination.
Changes, if any, in the postal address or email address or mobile number after submission of the DAF-I may be communicated to the Commission at once.
Instruction for One Time Registration (OTR)
- One Time Registration is mandatory for applying online for various examinations of UPSC.
- Register once in OTR and apply for any examination advertised by the UPSC in future.
- One Time Registration (OTR) is not an application for any examination. It is just a collection of information from the applicants and giving a separate dashboard to each applicant to facilitate them to maintain their own profile.
- Valid active Email ID and Mobile Number are mandatory for One Time Registration (OTR).
- The candidate will have to change his/her password in One Time Registration (OTR).
- The candidate who wishes to apply online for any examination advertised by the UPSC should use the same password given in the One Time Registration (OTR).
- No payment of fee is required for One Time Registration (OTR).
- After submitting all the details/ information successfully in the One Time Registration (OTR) a message will be sent to your registered Email ID and Mobile Number.
- OTR ID will be sent to your registered Email ID and Mobile Number.
- Multiple OTR IDs are not allowed. It may cause your application may be Rejected/Cancelled.
- If any correction/update/changes in data, please send to upscsoap[at]nic[dot]in with document proof.
- Log on to URL: https://www.upsconline.nic.in to access the home page of the Online Application.
- Click on New Registration to register a New User for various examinations of UPSC.
How to Apply for Online Application?
- Candidate has to register himself/ herself on OTR (One Time Registration) portal by clicking the New Registration button.
- After registration, he/she has to login (by Email ID/ Mobile Number/ OTR ID) to verify the already registered OTR application.
- Go to the Latest Notification tab in the OTR application.
- Apply for desirable Examination.
- Candidate can check active examination Notification (in English and Hindi) on URL: https://www.upsc.gov.in
