Union Public Service Commission has released the notification for the recruitment of Specialist Grade III. Those candidates who have met all eligibility criteria and are interested in the vacancy details can read the notification and submit their application online.

1. Specialist Grade III (Anaesthesiology): 46 Posts

UPSC Specialist Grade III Anaesthesiology Recruitment 2024 - Qualification: i) MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. ii) Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in the concerned speciality or super speciality mentioned in Section A or Section B in Schedule VI or equivalent i.e. MD (Anaesthesiology)/ MS (Anaesthesiology)/ Diploma in Anaesthesiology (DA).

UPSC Specialist Grade III Anaesthesiology Recruitment 2024 - Experience: Three years’ experience in the concerned Specialty after obtaining the first Post Graduate degree or 5 years’ experience after obtaining the first Post Graduate diploma.         

2. Specialist Grade III (Bio-chemistry): 01 Post

UPSC Specialist Grade III Biochemistry Recruitment 2024 - Qualification: i) MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. ii) Post Graduate Degree in the concerned specialty as mentioned in section A in Schedule VI i.e. MD (Bio-Chemistry)/ M.Sc (Medical Bio-Chemistry)/ PhD( Bio-Chemistry)/ D.Sc ( Bio-Chemistry).

UPSC Specialist Grade III Biochemistry Recruitment 2024 - Experience: Three years’ experience in the concerned Specialty after obtaining the first Post Graduate degree.

3. Specialist Grade III (Forensic Medicine): 07 Posts

UPSC Specialist Grade III Forensic Medicine Recruitment 2024 - Qualification: i) MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. ii) Post Graduate Degree in the concerned specialty as mentioned in section A in Schedule VI i.e. M.D.(Forensic Medicine).

UPSC Specialist Grade III Forensic Medicine Recruitment 2024 - Experience: Three years’ experience in the concerned Specialty after obtaining the first Post Graduate degree.

4. Specialist Grade III (Microbiology): 09 Posts

UPSC Specialist Grade III Microbiology Recruitment 2024 - Qualification: i) MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. ii) Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in the concerned speciality or super speciality mentioned in Section A or Section B in Schedule VI or equivalent i.e. MD (Bacteriology)/ MD(Microbiology)/, MBBS with M.Sc (Med. Bacteriology)/ M.Sc.( Med. Bacteriology)/ M.Sc ( Med. Microbiology)/ PhD ( Med. Bacteriology)/ M.Sc ( Med. Bacteriology) with D.Sc (Med. Bacteriology)/ M.Sc ( Med. Microbiology) with Ph.D.( Med. Microbiology)/ M.Sc ( Med. Microbiology) with D.Sc.( Med. Microbiology)/ D(Bact.)/ Diploma in Pathology & Bacteriology (DPB).

UPSC Specialist Grade III Microbiology Recruitment 2024 - Experience: Three years’ experience in the concerned Specialty after obtaining the first Post Graduate degree or 5 years’ experience after obtaining the first Post Graduate diploma.         

5. Specialist Grade III (Pathology): 07 Posts

UPSC Specialist Grade III Pathology Recruitment 2024 - Qualification: i) MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. ii) Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma in the concerned speciality or super speciality mentioned in Section A or Section B in Schedule VI or equivalent i.e. MD (Pathology)/ PhD (Pathology)/ D.Sc (Pathology)/ Diploma in Clinical Pathology/ Diploma in Pathology & Bacteriology.

UPSC Specialist Grade III Pathology Recruitment 2024 - Experience: Three years’ experience in the concerned Specialty after obtaining the first Post Graduate degree or 5 years’ experience after obtaining the first Post Graduate diploma.

6. Specialist Grade III (Plastic Surgery & Reconstructive Surgery): 08 Posts

UPSC Specialist Grade III Plastic Surgery & Reconstructive Surgery Recruitment 2024 - Qualification: i) MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
