UPSC CAPF (ACs) Exam 2021

The <a href="https://sakshieducation.com/PreviousPapers/UPSC.html" target="_blank"><strong>Union Public Service Commission</strong></a> will hold a written examination for recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces viz. Border Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force, Central Industrial Security Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police and Sashastra Seema Bal.
  1. Border Security Force: 35 Posts
  2. Central Reserve Police Force: 36 Posts
  3. Central Industrial Security Force: 67 Posts
  4. Indo-Tibetan Border Police: 20 Posts
  5. Sashastra Seema Bal: 01 Post
    UPSC CAPF ACs Qualification: Bachelor’s degree of a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification.
    UPSC CAPF ACs Age Limit (As on 01/08/21): 20 - 25 years
    UPSC CAPF ACs Fee: Rs.200/-. Female/ SC/ ST candidates are exempted from payment of fee.

Scheme of Examination for UPSC CAPF ACs: The scheme of the examination will be as follows:

Written Examination: The written examination will comprise two papers.
  • Paper I: General Ability and Intelligence
  • Marks: 250
  • Timings: 10 A.M. to 12.00 Noon
Note: The questions in this paper will be of Objective (Multiple Answers) Type in which the questions will be set in English as well as Hindi.

Penalty for Wrong Answers (In Objective Type Question Paper): Candidates should note that there will be penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the Objective Type Question Paper.
  • Paper II: General Studies, Essay and Comprehension
  • Marks: 200
  • Timings: 2.00 P.M. to 5.00 P.M.
Note: In this paper candidates will be allowed the option of writing the Essay Component in English or Hindi, but the medium of Precis Writing, Comprehension Components and other communications/ language skills will be English only.
