Librarian under control of commissioner of Intermediate Education: 40 Posts

TSPSC Librarian Notification 2022 - Qualification: A Bachelor Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce and a Postgraduate Degree in Library Science with first or second class with not less than 50% of marks from a university in India established or incorporated by of under a central act, state act, or a provincial act, or an institute recognized by the University Grants Commission or an equivalent qualification.

Librarian under control of commissioner of Technical Education: 31 Posts

TSPSC Librarian Notification 2022 - Qualifications:

LEVEL-9-A, Entry Pay 56,100/-: 1. Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/ Documentation Science or an Equivalent Professional Degree with at least first class or its equivalent and consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of library. 2. Qualifying in the National Level Test conduct for the purpose by UGC or other equivalent test as approved by the UGC

LEVEL-10 Entry Pay 57,700/-: A Master’s degree with First Class or equivalent and have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR or a similar test accredited by UGC, like SLET/ CET or Ph.D.

TSPSC Librarian Notification 2022 - Scale of Pay: Rs.56,100/- OR 57,700/-

TSPSC Librarian Notification 2022 - Age Limit (As on 01/07/22): 44 years

TSPSC Librarian Notification 2022 - Application Processing Fee: Rs.200/- towards Online Application Processing Fee.

TSPSC Librarian Notification 2022 - Examination Fee:- The applicants have to pay Rs.120/-  towards Examination Fee. However,

1. All unemployees are exempted from payment of examination fee, and
2. All Employees of any Government (Central / State / PSUs / Corporations / Other Government Sector) have to pay the prescribed examination fee
