The Telangana Public Service Commission (TSPSC) invites application for the posts of Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors In Forest College Research Institute, Mulugu in the State of Telangana

Professor: 02 Posts

Eligibility:

A. i) An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree in the concerned / allied / relevant Discipline, and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with, a minimum of 10 research publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 120 as per the criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2 of G.O.Ms.No.15, Higher Education Department (UE) Department, dated 29.06.2019. ii) A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university / college as Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Professor, and / or research experience at equivalent level at the university / National Level Institutions with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidate. OR

B. An outstanding professional, having a PhD degree in the relevant / allied / applied disciplines, from any academic institutions (not included in A above) / industry, who has made significant contribution to the knowledge in the concerned / allied / relevant discipline, supported by documentary evidence provided he / she has ten years’ experience.

Age Limit (As on 01/07/22): 21 - 61 years

Scale of Pay: Rs.1,44,200/- (As per UGC Norms)

Associate Professor: 04 Posts

Eligibility:

i) A good academic record, with a PhD Degree in the concerned/ allied/ relevant disciplines. ii) A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed). iii) A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and /or research in an academic/ research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry with a minimum of seven publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC -listed journals and total research score of Seventy-five (75) as per the criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2 of G.O.Ms.No.15, Higher Education Department (UE) Department, Dated 29.06.2019.

Age Limit (As on 01/07/22): 21 - 61 years

Scale of Pay: Rs.1,31,400/- (As per UGC Norms)

Assistant Professor: 21 Posts

Eligibility: i) A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET or who are have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/ PhD Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET: Provided, the candidates registered for the Ph.D. programme prior to July 11, 2009, shall be governed by the provisions of the then existing Ordinances / Bye- laws / Regulations of the Institution awarding the degree and such Ph.D. candidates shall be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/ Colleges/ Institutions subject to the fulfilment of the following conditions.

a) The PhD degree of the candidate has been awarded in a regular mode;

b) The PhD thesis has been evaluated by the at least two external examiners;

c) An open PhD viva voce of the candidate has been conducted

d) The candidate has published two research papers from his/her Ph.D. work, out of which at least one is in a referred journal;

e) The candidate has presented at least two papers based on his/her Ph.D. work in conferences/seminars sponsored /funded/supported by the UGC / ICSSR / CSIR or any similar agency.

The fulfilment of these conditions is to be certified by the Registrar or the Dean (Academic Affairs) of the University concerned.

Scale of Pay: Rs.57,700/- (As per UGC Norms)

Each applicant must pay Rs.500/- towards Online Application Processing Fee.

TSPSC Faculty Notification 2022 - How to Apply?

The Applicant has to read the User Guide (https://tspsc.gov.in) for Online Submission of Applications and then proceed further.

Step I: Before applying, the Applicant has to visit the website (https://tspsc.gov.in) and fill the OTR application if not registered earlier to obtain TSPSC ID. While filling the OTR, the applicant has to ensure that there are no mistakes in it. The Commission will not be held responsible for the mistakes, if any, made by the applicants. If already registered in the OTR the applicant can directly access the application form. The applicant is instructed to fill his/her application form himself/herself with utmost care instead of delegating to others.

Step II:-

In order to fill the application form, the Applicant has to visit the website (https://tspsc.gov.in) and Click on the online Application Link provided on the Website, then enter TSPSC ID and Date of Birth and login with OTP received to proceed further.
Applicant has to verify the details fetched from OTR database pertaining to Name, Date of Birth, requisite Educational Qualifications, Community, Gender, etc., displayed on the screen.
In addition to the details obtained from OTR database, specific details of Notification such as required qualification and declarations etc., should be filled by the applicant.
Preview and Edit facility is available to make changes and then click on SAVE & PAY button for proceeding to next step of making online payment of fee through payment gateway.

Step III:- The applicant should pay the prescribed fee as specified through any of the Three modes of payment online i.e., Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card and duly following the instructions appearing on the screen.

Step IV:- After payment of fee, the PDF application will be generated which contains the particulars furnished by the applicant. The applicant must download a copy of his/her application form (PDF) and Academic Score Card proformas and fill the requisite columns & enclose all the necessary documents and submit along with the bounded booklets in Triplicate (Three copies). The Reference ID Number in the PDF application form has to be quoted for future reference/correspondence

After that, the Applicants have to download the Application (PDF) form and Academic Score Card proformas from the TSPSC Website (https://tspsc.gov.in) and fill the requisite columns & enclose all the necessary documents (Publications, Experience Certificates, Research topics, Academic Contributions and other relevant certificates) and submit in Bounded booklet format in triplicate (3 copies) to the Secretary, Telangana State Public Service Commission, Prathibha Bhavan, Nampally, Hyderabad - 500001 by Registered Post/In person
