AP TET Notification 2022 Released

The online applications are invited for the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET- August, 2022) from the candidates aspiring to be Teachers in State Government, Mandal Parishad, Zilla Parishad, Municipality, Private Aided Schools and Private un-aided schools etc., under the control of Andhra Pradesh State for classes I to VIII.
AP TET Notification 2022 Released

Qualifications for Paper-I A (Classes I to V):

  1. Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) (or)
  2. Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition norms and procedure), Regulations, 2002 (or)
  3. Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) (or)
  4. Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education) (or)
  5. Graduation and two year diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) (or)
  6. Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)  (or)
  7. Post Graduation with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and three year integrated B.Ed/ M.Ed.

Qualifications for paper-I B (Classes I to V ) (Special Schools): RCI Qualifications Elementary:-

  1. Intermediate/ Senior Secondary and two year D.Ed. Special Education in any of the category of disability (or)
  2. Intermediate/ Senior Secondary and one year Diploma in Special Education (DSE) in any of the category of disability. (or)
  3. Diploma in Community Based Rehabilitation (DCBR) with 6 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs. (or)
  4. Post Graduate Diploma in Community Based Rehabilitation (PGDCBR) with 6 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs. (Or)
  5. Diploma in Multi Rehabilitation Worker (MRW) with 06 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs. (Or)
  6. Junior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf. (Or)
  7. Primary level Teacher Training course in Visual Impairment. (Or)
  8. Diploma in Vocational Rehabilitation – Mental Retardation (DVR-MR) / Diploma in Vocational Training and Employment – Mental Retardation (DVTE-MR) with 06 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs. (Or)
  9. Diploma in Hearing Language and Speech (DHLS) with 06 months Certificate
  10. course in Education of Children with Special Needs. (Or)
  11. Intermediate/Senior Secondary passed with any RCI recognized qualification of minimum one year duration and 06 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs. (Or)
  12. Any other equivalent qualification approved by RCI.

AP TET Exam Pattern 2022 

Qualifications for TET Paper II-A (Classes VI-VIII) (Regular Schools):

Mathematics and Science Teachers/Social Studies Teachers/Language Teachers

  1. At least 50% marks either in Graduation (or) in Post Graduation with B.Ed., (or)
  2. Graduation with at least 45% marks and 1 year Bachelor of Education in accordance with the NCTE recognition norms and procedure Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. (or)
  3. Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed) (or)
  4. Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year B.A./B.Sc. Ed. or B.A.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed. (or)
  5. Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1 year B.Ed (Special Education) (or)
  6. Post Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade and three year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed.

Language Teachers (Classes VI to VIII): Graduation with Language concerned as one of the Optional Subjects (or) Bachelor of Oriental Language (or its equivalent) (or) Graduation in Literature (or) Post Graduation in Language concerned and Language Pandit Training Certificate/ B.Ed with Language concerned as one of the Methodologies, in respect of Language Teachers.

Minimum Qualifications for TET Paper II-B (Classes VI-VIII) (Special Schools): Graduate with B.Ed.(Special Education)/ B.Ed.(General) with one year Diploma in Special Education / B.Ed. (General) with two years Diploma in Special Education / B.Ed.(General) with Post Graduate Professional Diploma in Special Education (PGDC) / PG Diploma in Special Education (Mental Retardation) / PG Diploma in Special Education (Multiple Disability: Physical & Neurological) / PG Diploma in Special Education (Locomotor Impairment and Cerebral Palsy) / Secondary level Teacher Training Course in Visual Impairment / Senior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf / BA B.Ed. in Visual impairment/ Any other equivalent qualification approved by RCI.
