Thomson Reuters is looking to recruit a Solution/Client Services Consultant to support our Solution Consulting & Client Services team focused on our Legal Software suite of solutions. The role will be based in our Hyderabad, India office

Job Role: Solution Consultant

Qualifications:

• University degree or equivalent business experience; a law degree is not essential but would be advantageous
• Computer and software skills/ aptitude and willingness to learn and keep up-to-date with evolving technology

Technical /Professional Skills & Competencies:

• An understanding of the typical operational processes employed by company’s legal departments, around for example, matter management and contract lifecycle management.
• The ability to consult with customers through the sales process to understand their requirements and goals, and then set out the options to achieve those, together with recommendations
• Technical aptitude, with strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Experience in scoping and estimating professional services engagements, perhaps gained through a previous professional services delivery role
• Previous experience of using or implementing legal software would be an advantage.
• Strong collaboration, teamwork and relationship building skills across multiple functions and levels in the organization to develop joint solutions
• Resourceful and highly organized, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities whilst remaining responsive
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written (English essential, additional languages will be considered an asset).
