Cut-off Trends:
- For Tier-1 NITs, the percentile cut-off for CSE is extremely high, especially for general category students (99.4 to 99.6 percentile). Even mechanical engineering in Tier-1 NITs has a cut-off in the 97-98 percentile range.
- Tier-2 and Tier-3 NITs also show a gradual decrease in the cut-off, with Tier-3 NITs having cut-offs as low as 80-85 percentile for mechanical engineering.

- OBC/EWS students generally see a slightly lower cut-off, especially in Tier-2 and Tier-3 NITs. However, the difference narrows significantly for Tier-1 NITs.
- SC and ST students have considerably lower cut-offs compared to general and OBC/EWS categories, especially in Tier-3 NITs.

- The top NITs like Warangal, Tiruchi, and Surathkal have very competitive rankings with percentile requirements exceeding 99% for both boys and girls in the CSE branch.
