Question
What are the different courses that I can study after Intermediate in BiPC?
Given below are some of your options:
Medicine or Alternative medicine: Medicine is the most popular choice among BiPC students. If not MBBS, you can pursue alternative medicine. Ayurveda, Unani, Yoga and Naturopathy, and Homeopathy are considered as alternative systems of medicine.

The eligibility criterion for bachelor degree courses in these forms of medicine is +2 with BPC. The admission is based on performance at entrance test.

These courses include compulsory internship as a part of their curriculum. After the completion of these courses, you can apply to get licence to practice medicine.

Pharmacy: Pharmacy deals with preparation of drugs. Academic courses in Pharmacy are designed to help students understand the responsibilities of a pharmacist in health care, diagnosis and treatment of diseases and therapeutic use of drugs. After Intermediate, you can opt for six year D.Pharma or B.Pharmacy course.

The next popular choice is BDS. Apart from this there are several options in health care and life science areas. Some of them are Nursing, Medical lab technology, Rehabilitation therapy, Physiotherapy, Optometry, Nuclear Medicine, Psychology, Wildlife, Forestry, Agriculture, Sericulture, Food Technology, Home Science, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Genetics, Botany and Zoology.

One can start with a bachelor's degree with a suitable combination of subjects they are interested in and then specialise in one of them at postgraduate level.
