Infosys Technologies has got the most structured recruitment process among all IT companies in India. First of all, they do not have any distinction between any branches of Engineering. Whatever be the branch, you can sit up for the selection process if you qualify their other eligibility criteria like marks and time gap. i.e once you had appeared for any test at Infosys, you will have to wait for 9 months until you appear for any of their recruitment process.

- For MCAs: 60% in class 10th, 60% in Intermediate / Diploma and 68% in Degree and 68% in MCA
- No active backlogs are allowed
The whole Selection Process contains two sections.
1. Aptitude test:
a) Analytical & Logical reasoning i.e. aptitude test: (30 questions : 40 minutes)
b) English/verbal section: (40 questions: 35 minutes).
2. HR interview.

Written Test Pattern
a) Analytical & Logical reasoning
The order of questions are as follows-(there is no negative marking)
Q 1-5 are based on ranks. They are very much easy and can be solved within 5 minutes.
Q 6-10 on choose the odd man out from the figure series (some are easy some are moderate)
Q 11-15 based on normal mathematics.
Q 16-20 based on pie- chart ,a very easy one.
Q 21-25 based on a puzzle. puzzle is like that "there are 5 persons in the family a, b, c, d, e and they are farmer ,doctor, trader, lawyer, engineer and we have to find the correct match for each a, b, c, d, e based on some more info given”.
Q 26-30 based on syllogisms.
b) English/Verbal Section:
Two passages and 5 questions from each passage: Do it at the last. And before reading the passage see the question one time.
- Sentence Correction: Be care about tense mistake, spelling mistake, using of pronoun…
- Fill in the Blanks: Gain a detail idea on preposition, phrase, and idioms.
- Theme Detection.
- Identification of some supporting or weakening sentences about a paragraph given
- If a die has 1, 6 and 3, 4 and 2, 5 opposite each other how many such dies can be made.
- There are three boxes, in one box two white balls, in two box 2 black balls in three box 1 white & black The labels on the boxes are not correct. Then you have to open one box and to find the colour of the balls in all boxes.
Solution: Open the box labeled black& white. If white balls are there then the box labeled with white balls contain black balls and labeled with black balls contain one black and one white ball and vice versa if two black balls are there. - There are containing 5, 7, 14, 16, 18, 29 balls of either red or blue in colour. Some boxes contain only red balls and others contain only blue. One sales man sold one box out of them and then he says “I have the same number of red balls left out as that of blue ". Which box is the one he sold out?
Ans: total no of balls = 89 and (89-29 /2 = 60/2 = 30
and also 14 + 16 = 5 + 7 + 18 = 30
- A chain is broken into three pieces of equal lengths containing 3 links each. It is taken to a blacksmith to join into a single continuous one. How many links are to be opened to make it? Ans : 2.
- when the actual time pass 1hr wall clock is 10 min behind it when 1 hr is shown by wall clock, table clock shows 10 min ahead of it when table clock shows 1 hr the alarm clock goes 5min behind it, when alarm clock goes 1 hr wrist watch is 5 min ahead of it assuming that all clocks are correct with actual time at 12 noon what will be time shown by wrist watch after 6 hr
