NAC launches new courses in Engineering... Opportunity for Civils Engineers!!

There is still a huge demand for engineering among students. However, with thousands of people completing engineering each year, it has become harder to find jobs. The same situation prevails in Civil Engineering too.
Engineering New Courses
NAC launches two new courses in Engineering!!

In the wake of this, the National Academy of Construction (NAC) has launched two new courses.

Construction Project Management Course:
To start a structure, you must have a plan. The course teaches the procedures to be followed to design the structure accordingly.

Quantity Survey:
How to make the cost of construction, is it exceeding the requirement, can it cost more, which items should be used at what time .. When to buy them .. How to market .. This course will tell you something like this.

NAC has decided to add extra touch to their degree in order to bring good demand to B.Tech civil engineers. For this, it has decided to start Diploma Courses in Construction Project Management and Quantity Survey. Although some prestigious institutes run these courses, the fees are up to Rs. 5 lakh and are not available to everyone. With this, it was decided to make these courses available for less fee. NAC negotiated with JNTU with the intention that the course would not be recognized for its conduct and that the certificate would be of value upon completion. The deal was struck just a year before Covid‌ began. JNTU runs these courses in a NAC platform. Construction companies are laying the red carpet for those who are aware of both. There is a good demand for those who have learned these courses not only in Telangana but also abroad. About 150 B.Tech graduates enrolled in these courses in the first year. After that their number decreased for two years due to Covid‌ and now they are showing interest again.

Campus Interviews...

Construction companies are advancing to campus interviews before these courses are completed. They are announcing an annual package of Rs 2.5 lakh to Rs 3.5 lakh. The idea is to go abroad so as to appear for an examination conducted by the ‘Project Management Institute’. The special course certificate offered by JNTU gives the opportunity to go for that exam, ”said Praveen Reddy. He completed the NAC course and recently got a job.

Good recognition
Both these courses gained good recognition across the country in a short span of time. At first the candidates came from different states. Interest is growing again, although somewhat diminished by Covid‌. We have recently completed the first tranche selection for 50 seats. Selection has begun for another 50 seats. Candidates can apply.

More job opportunities...
B.Tech Civil Engineers who have done these two courses are getting good job opportunities. This is evidenced by the fact that companies conduct on-campus interviews before completing the course. We expect demand to increase further as Covid‌ is currently in decline.
