AP EAMCET from September 17 to 25: Check Instructions released by the govt.

The state government is making all arrangements for various entrance exams, including the EAMCET, ICET, PGECET etc. State Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh has conducted several reviews with education officials, AP higher education officials and conveners of various sets and has given various suggestions on the arrangements.

  • The Board of Higher Education has made arrangements to conduct these entrance examinations in accordance with the Covid-19 protocol.
  • These tests will be conducted as Computer Based (CBT) (excluding PECET).
  • Barcoding hall tickets have already been issued and clear instructions have been given on the procedures to be followed by the students.
  • The Board of Higher Education has devised a special proforma to take self-declaration from the candidate.
  • CETs will start from the 10th of this month with ICET exams.
  • Candidates' information is verified by the authorities through barcode scanning. Barcode readers were set up at the entrance for this purpose.
  • Candidates should come with mask. Sanitizers are set up at the testing center.
  • Candidates are allowed to enter the examination center from 7.30-9.00 am in the morning session and from 1.30- 3.00 pm in the afternoon session. The test will begin at 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
  • The examination hall is sanitized during every session.
  • Information about the CETs can be found on the official website of the respective CETs.
  • Candidates are subjected to thermal screening at the entrance. Those with a higher temperature are tested in an isolation room.
  • Isolation rooms are allocated at the exam center. PPE kits will be provided to the test staff in these rooms.
  • Admissions to the new Diploma in Agriculture course will be held through ECET.
