US President Joe Biden to trip to India this week

• US President Joe Biden has said that he is looking forward to his trip to India this week. Biden was talking to reporters in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware in US.
• The US President will visit India from 7th to 10th of this month for bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and to participate in G20 summit, followed by a trip to Vietnam.
• Chinese President Xi Jinping is unlikely to attend the G-20 Summit in Delhi scheduled on 9th and 10th of this month, Biden said that he is disappointed to hear this. Without elaborating he added that he was going to get to see him. Bilateral ties between the United States and China face a long list of problems, from trade disputes to Taiwan’s future to the expansive Chinese presence in the South China Sea. The United States has been working to restore a more effective working relationship.
