One college for skill development for each Lok Sabha constituency in AP
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has announced that a college will be set up for skill development in every Lok Sabha constituency. He said that a high end skill university would be set up in Visakhapatnam and a skill university in Tirupati. It has been revealed that curriculum design and curriculum in skill development colleges are designed by High End Skills University, Skill Universities. He explained that there will be teaching and training in skill development colleges to enhance knowledge in subjects like coding, languages, robotics and IoT.

He said the work-from-home concept was being strengthened with the provision of internet in the villages. For the Skill Development Colleges being set up in the Lok Sabha constituencies, synergy will be formed between the work frame home. This will lead to better employment opportunities and better salaries, he said.
The idea of making institutions like the National Academy of Construction partners in every ITI should be considered. This will improve skills. The focus should be on developing and developing skills for young people who drop out by the tenth grade. We need to send the data of those who have received skill development training to newcomer industries. Steps should be taken to ensure that 75 per cent of jobs are created by locals. Drinking water plants, motors, solar units ... they need to improve their skills in maintenance and repair in many of the areas we see on a daily basis. '
‘Skills need to be improved in the maintenance and repair of equipment used for sanitation. Sewage treatment plants in some places are not functioning properly due to unskilled human resources. Management is also not going well. Thus human resources need to be developed to specialize in aspects related to daily life. Steps should be taken to increase knowledge in English as well. The new medical colleges and hospitals should be planned to provide skilled human resources for management, ”said CM Jagan.
ITI per constituency
‘Steps should be taken to ensure that the constituency has an ITI. An industrial training institute will be set up at the constituency level to develop mandatory skills. The focus should also be on minimum facilities in private ITIs. Certification should be done on the standards of public and private ITIs. Every college and ITI should also take steps to achieve the prescribed standards. Necessary teaching staff should be kept in government ITIs. Teaching staff in government engineering colleges and polytechnic colleges should be scrutinized.
Until now we have been instructed to allocate them to meet with industry representatives for three days every month. Training should be provided as per the requirements in ITIs and skill development colleges. Collectors should take steps to increase apprenticeship for trainees and should be incorporated digitally when teaching by experts.
