Millions of job seekers in the country, attending various competitive exams every year are facing many difficulties. It is decided to conduct a Common Eligibility Test for the recruitment of jobs at the national level through National Recruitment Agency – Common Eligibility Test (NRACET)

Jobs covered by NRA CET
Within the NRACET, mainly three recruitment boards are included. They are Staff Selection Commission (SSC), Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). By bringing such recruitment agencies under the NRA CET, job seekers will be able to compete for Group-B Non-Gazetted posts, Group-C (Non-Technical) and Clerical posts in Central Government Departments through a single examination.

Tests as per qualifications
At present, various examinations are being conducted for the recruitment of Central Government jobs from tenth class to bachelor's degree. This is not going to happen here after. SSC is currently conducting the exam for multi-tasking staff and constable general duty posts with tenth class qualification. Also conducting Higher Secondary Level Exam for Clerical Cadre Posts. Similarly, Group-B posts are being filled through the Combined Graduate Level Exam with the qualification of Bachelor's degree. RRB and IBPS also conduct separate examinations with tenth class, intermediate and bachelor's degree qualifications as per the respective posts.
The government has decided to set up a testing center for the NRACETin every district across the country. Similarly the test will be conducted in all 12 languages.

Tier? – 1 as the first test
The first test of the NRACETwill be held in the second week of September, as per the authorities, adding that it is only a tier-1 test. At the tier-2 and tier-3 levels, the respective recruitment agencies and boards have made it clear that they will conduct another test in the second phase in accordance with their regulations. That is, the NRACETremains the basic test for the recruitment of the respective posts. Based on the qualifying exam candidates are required to appear for the examinations conducted by the recruitment agencies in Tier-2 and Tier-3. Based on the passing of Tier-1 (NRACET) by the respective Boards for the posts in Tier-2 and Tier-3 stages, there is a possibility of conducting recruitment processes such as Main Examination and Personal Interview.

Three years validity for the score
The score obtained through the NRACET is valid up to three years. That is candidates who have scored once in the NRACET can apply at any time within three years for the next level or phase examinations conducted by SSC, RRB, IBPS based on it. The NRACET will be held twice a year. Candidates can appear for the examination as many times as they want before the end of their maximum age limit.

Test procedure
The NRACET will be conducted for 100 to 120 marks.

The exam consists of Quantitative Ability / Numerical Ability, Reasoning, English Comprehension and General Knowledge sections.

The NRACET will also be used as a tier-1 test for banking posts.

Preparation ? Plan?
Candidates should not wait for the NRACET notification to come. Efforts should be made from now on to raise awareness on the respective subjects. So there will be a chance to shine in the first CET which will take place in the second week of September.

English Language
Must have a thorough understanding of basic grammar. Particular attention should be paid to EDs, tenses, sentence correction, vocabulary, sentence re-arrangement, one word substitutes, active, passive voices.

Numerical Ability
If you want to excel in this section, you should give priority to master arithmetic. Therefore, percentages, ratios, time – distance, time – work, number series should be taken into account. Awareness of geometry in relation to quantitative ability and data interpretation is needed. In the same way one should practice pie-charts, analyzing flowcharts and analyzing information based on data.

Reasoning?
For this section, awareness on all aspects related to verbal and non-verbal reasoning should be updated. Must have a thorough knowledge of coding, de-coding, seating arrangement, blood relations, directions and syllabi..

General Awareness
NRA CET candidates should pay special attention to this section. In addition to the social contemporary developments, Stock, GK should also be read. Current Affairs of the previous year should be followed. In the same way, historical aspects, important developments in the field of science and technology, Covid conditions etc. should be taken into consideration.

Connection with tier-2, tier-3
Candidates should practice NRA CET preparation in such a way that it can be used in Tier-2 examination as well. Currently, the main examinations conducted by SSC, RRB and IBPS have the same syllabus as in the Preliminary. Therefore, candidates should prepare to have a full understanding of the subject. The application approach should be increased. For this, not only studying of the books, butalsothe practice should be given priority. Learning with a descriptive approach is very beneficial. This will give you the readiness to answer any question asked in the exam. Must attend mock tests and model tests during NRA CET preparation. The test will be conducted in a computer based manner. So you need to create awareness on the online test method. For this you need to attend online model tests and mock tests.

Readiness with standard books
Candidates preparing for the NRACET should be given priority to standard books.

Possibility of having these sections

Currently, the competitive examinations conducted by SSC, RRB and IBPS include Quantitative Ability, English, Reasoning and General Knowledge. The NRA CET is likely to have almost the same syllabus content. Candidates should therefore strive from now on to master these disciplines. The test can be conducted for a minimum of one hundred or 120 marks and a maximum of 150 marks. Tier? – 1 exam is therefore more likely to be for 120 marks.
