Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman tabled the Economic Survey 2024-25 in Parliament, projecting India’s GDP growth at 6.3-6.8% for FY26. The report highlights strong economic resilience, fiscal discipline, and sustained growth momentum despite global uncertainties.

India’s GDP growth is projected to slow to 6.4% in FY25, marking a four-year low, according to estimates from the National Statistics Office (NSO). The downturn is attributed to sluggish manufacturing activity and weaker investment flows.
