APPSC Group-2 Main Exams Postponed: New Dates Expected Soon!

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has announced the postponement of the Group-2 Mains exam, which was originally scheduled for July 28th. The new dates for the exam will be announced soon.
A total of 4,83,525 candidates applied for the Group-2 prelims exam. Of these, 4,63,517 downloaded their hall tickets, and 4,04,037 (87.17%) appeared for the exam.
The APPSC Group-2 Main Exam will consist of two papers, each worth 300 marks.
- Paper-1 (150 questions, 150 marks):
- Section-1: Social History of Andhra Pradesh (Social and Cultural Movements in Andhra Pradesh)
- Section-2: Constitution of India review
- Paper-2 (150 questions, 150 marks):
- Section-1: Economy of India and Andhra Pradesh
- Section-2: Science and Technology and Environmental Issues
APPSC issued a notification on December 7th to fill 897 posts, accepting online applications from January 21st to January 10th. Later, 8 more posts were added, bringing the total to 905 posts. Based on this increased number, a total of 92,250 candidates have been selected for the Mains exam in 1:100 selection ratio.
