AP DSC 2024 Updates: 80% of Teacher Posts Reserved for Locals?

Sakshi Education: The Andhra Pradesh government is preparing to release the AP DSC-2024 notification on June 30th for the recruitment of 16,347 teacher posts. Additionally, the AP TET-2024 notification is likely to be released simultaneously with the DSC notification.

The entire recruitment process of teacher jobs is expected to be completed between July 1st and December 10th. It is reported that 80% of the teacher posts will be filled by locals from the respective districts. The breakdown of the total posts to be filled is as follows:

• School Education Department: 13,661 posts
• SC Welfare Department: 439 posts
• BC Welfare Department: 170 posts
• ST Welfare Department: 2,024 posts
• Department for Differently Abled: 49 posts
