Direct Recruitment for Group 'C' Non-Medical Posts:
- Vacancies: 1,257 for Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) and 175 for Stenographers (Steno).
- Recruitment to be conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC).
- Examination scheduled from 30th September to 14th November 2024.

Recruitment for Nursing Officer (Group 'B'):
- Total vacancies: 574.
- Recruitment process submitted to AIIMS, New Delhi.
- Reservation provision: 80:20 ratio for Female:Male.

- Total vacancies: 1,206 across 13 cadres.
- Recruitment process also submitted to AIIMS, New Delhi.

Approval from the Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoLE):
- A letter dated 25th October 2024 confirmed the ministry's agreement with the proposed recruitment mechanisms.
- Further actions, including amendments to Recruitment Rules (RRs), will follow.
- An advertisement will be issued after receiving an indent from the Medical Administration.

Alignment of RRs with Central Government:
- General and Medical Administrations have been advised to align the Recruitment Rules (RRs) for Group 'C' staff with those of Central Government employees to allow SSC to proceed with the recruitment process.

UPSC Exemption:
- In a letter dated 27th August 2024, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has recommended that recruitment for all non-gazetted Group 'B' posts (corresponding to Central Government positions) in ESIC be exempted from UPSC oversight.

Final Approval:
- The Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoLE), through a letter dated 30th October 2024, has given final approval for the above proposals.
