RTE Second round admissions to be held from May 12 to 14

The state education department has announced the second round of admissions in Class 1 under the Right to Education Act 2009 (RTE). The second round will be conducted from today i.e., May 12 to 14. In the first round 64,456 students were given admissions of which 53,387 students had confirmed their admissions in the state while 18,028 seats remained vacant. These seats will be filled during the second round. The state government had 71,154 seats made available under RTE in 9,957 schools across the state.
