1000 Jobs in KGBVS: 2024 Recruitment Process To Be Out Soon

The government has decided to fill these positions based on the merit list from the recruitment test conducted last year. Recently, around 450 teaching and non-teaching staff were transferred, leading to over 1000 vacancies across KGBVS schools statewide. In response, the School Education Department has instructed District Education Officers (DEOs) to proceed with the recruitment process to fill these vacancies.

475 Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs)

Currently, there are 475 Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs) in the state, with 172 of them already upgraded to offer Intermediate education. The Education Department had also previously announced the upgrade of an additional 36 schools. These schools provide education from 6th grade to Intermediate.

Among the 475 schools, there are approximately 9,500 teaching staff and around 4,750 non-teaching staff. An official announcement regarding the recruitment of 1,000 vacant posts is expected soon. It is likely that these positions will be filled through interviews rather than written exams, with further clarification on the process expected shortly.
