Telangana Government Announces Dasara Holidays for Intermediate Junior Colleges: Check Dates
The Dussehra holidays for intermediate colleges in Telangana will be from October 6 to October 13, 2024, inclusive of two days. According to the notification issued by the Department of Education, all colleges will reopen on October 14, 2024. The government has directed all District Institute of Educational Officers (DIEOs) to inform all colleges under their jurisdiction about the holiday schedule. College managements have been instructed to strictly adhere to the announced dates.

Telangana Dussehra School Holidays 2024:
The Telangana Education Department has announced Dussehra holidays for all government and private schools from October 2 to October 14, 2024. Schools will reopen on October 15. After the holidays, Summative Assessment exams will be conducted, and school principals have been instructed to assign homework related to the exams.

Andhra Pradesh Dussehra School Holidays 2024:
In Andhra Pradesh, the government has declared a 10-day holiday for both government and private schools from October 4 to October 13, 2024, in celebration of Dussehra. Dussehra and Sankranti are major festivals in the Telugu states. The Andhra Pradesh government has officially announced the Dussehra holidays for all schools in the state. Education Minister Nara Lokesh had previously included this in the AP academic calendar.
